How does Grandville Printing charge VAT in the UK?

Grandville Printing is registered in the UK as a VAT payer, and it affects the way we charge VAT for orders going to the UK, as well as orders fulfilled in the UK.

If you don't have a valid UK VAT ID

1) All orders fulfilled and then shipped within the UK have 20% VAT applied.

2) For orders fulfilled outside of the UK, but shipped to an end address in the UK:

• If your total order amount (product price excluding shipping) is less than 135 GBP, we charge a 20% VAT rate for orders going to the UK.
• If your total Grandville Printing order amount (product price excluding shipping) is more than 135 GBP, we don't charge you VAT, however, VAT and customs duties are payable and customs declarations need to be made at the border.

If you have a valid UK VAT ID

You're charged 20% VAT for all domestic UK orders.

Note that for orders fulfilled outside of the UK, but shipped to an end address in the UK, you won't be charged VAT. You're responsible for VAT charges yourself.
